Description

Come and discover ski touring and off-piste skiing in the Aosta valley.

Those 2 days of skiing will make you understand if ski touring is a discipline you like or not. The course takes place in some of the best known resorts in the upper Aosta valley in Italy, close to the Mont Blanc.

The aim is to allow alpine skiers with a red slope level to try climbing with skins on routes adapted to beginners, followed by off-piste descents at the edge of the slopes to be able to return easily to them in case of difficulties.

Pedagogical content of the course:

  • Evolving in the ascent with ski touring equipment.
  • Descending off-piste / on the edge of the piste.
  • Learning the important concepts and operating principles of the avalanche beacon.

If you like this activity and want to progress, I advise you to follow the AINEVA training course "Following ski touring track" which also takes place in the Aosta valley.

You can also follow me on other courses to learn about ski touring at the foot of Mont Blanc or in the Aosta valley and the Valais.
