Infos & BookingDescription
Come and discover ski touring and off-piste skiing with me!
Those 2 days of skiing will make you understand if ski touring is a discipline you like or not. The course will take place in some of the best known resorts in the upper Aosta valley in Italy, close to Mont Blanc.
The aim is to allow alpine skiers with a red slope level to try climbing with skins on routes adapted to beginners, followed by off-piste descents at the edge of the slopes to be able to return easily to them in case of difficulties.
Pedagogical content of the course:
- Evolving in the ascent with ski touring.
- Descending off-piste / on the edge of the piste.
- Learning the strictly necessary notions about avalanche beacon.
If you like this activity and want to progress, I advise you to follow the AINEVA training course "Following the track with ski touring", still in the Aosta valley.
You can also go for several days of ski touring at the foot of Mont Blanc or for a basic course in the Aosta valley.
Program
D1: Ski touring in the forests of the Pila - Aosta ski area.
Meet at 8.30am at the place agreed together.
During this first day, you will be able to try out the technique of climbing, and approach the notions of rescue with the avalanche beacon, the shovel and the probe. Finally, we will organise the next day.
