Infos & BookingDescription
Looking for a via ferrata for people feeling dizzy? Yes, it's possible!
Located in Isère department, facing the Alpe du Grand Serre ski area, the Cascade via ferrata offers a superb itinerary only one hour's drive from Grenoble.
This easy Cascade via ferrata is perfect for beginners and children, and for those who want to discover this activity gently. Kids and families will love it!
The route is made up of three parts, so difficulty and time can be adapted to suit the group.
The first section ("Les Passerelles") begins with a steep 20-meter wall, then continues with a slalom between the left and right banks of the river. With its monkey bridges, footbridges and fixed beam, this is the most fun and varied section of the course. If necessary, an escape route allows you to return to the start, but it would be a shame not to continue.
The second section, called "La balade", is more vertiginous. You climb up out of the undergrowth, and after crossing a monkey bridge, move onto easy rocky slabs. You will enjoy a superb panorama of the entire valley. Here again, an escape route is available if required.
The third and final section ("The balcony") is more challenging and rarely climbed. It leads to a steep spur and a lookout point, before taking a path that rises to the top.
For more vertical adventures in the region, you can also follow me on:
