Description
I invite you to experience a canyoning adventure with your children just a few minutes from Castellane. Accessible from the age of 4, the Rayaup canyon will leave your little ones with unforgettable memories!
Located in the heart of the Alpes-de-Hautes-Provence department, the canyon is adapted to the youngest visitors:
- A very short and easy approach and return walk to avoid tiring and discouraging them.
- A sunny itinerary and water at a pleasant temperature to keep them warm.
- An incredible canyon and environment: the gorges of the Rayaup torrent have been sculpted by water for thousands of years, forming magnificent basins and natural slides.
- Peace and quiet are guaranteed, as this itinerary is rarely visited.
- And above all, a technically easy and highly entertaining canyoning descent with:
- jumps from 50 centimeters to 1.50 meters, perfect for making bombs without fear or injury,
- slides down natural toboggans up to 2 meters long,
- and sections of aquatic trekking.

Program
- Meet at the canyon parking lot, 5 minutes' drive south-west of Castellane.
- Equipment and 3-minute mini-transfer to avoid making the kids walk too much.
- Short approach walk of 5 minutes to reach the river that flows through this beautiful canyon.
- Canyoning descent of around an hour and a quarter.
- A ten-minute return walk along the footpath to the parking lot downstream.
The price includes
- Supervision by canyoning instructor.
- Loan of equipment required for the activity (neoprene wetsuit and personal protection).
The price does not include
- Return transport to the meeting point near Castellane.
- A swimsuit and lace-up sneakers for the activity (bring spare shoes).
- Snacks.
