Description

This mountain trail course takes place in the circuses of Estaubé and Gavarnie, in the heart of the Pyrenees massif.

Based on intense races accumulating many kilometers and important altitude differences, this trail training course aims to prepare a big sporting competition several weeks in advance by leading you to push your limits and to allow your body to be in physical overcompensation on the day of the event.

Program

D1: From 15 to 25 kilometers, from 1000 to 1500 meters of positive altitude difference.

Morning:

Effort management.
Endurance management.
Usage of hiking poles.
Analysis of the running techniques and heart rate of each person.
Sheathing and muscle reinforcement.

Afternoon:

Pedagogical course.
Night and dinner in an inn.

D2: From 18 to 28 kilometers, from 1200 to 2000 meters of positive altitude difference.

Morning:

Endurance management.
Relaunch.
Feeding during effort.
Proprioception and work of the descent supports.

Afternoon:

Analysis of objectives.
Development of individual training plans on request.

Supervision by the mountain leader specialist of trail.
Organization of the trail course.
Trail coaching.
Pedagogical courses and techniques.
Civil liability insurance.

The price does not include

Day 1 picnic (5€ per person).
Transports.

Accommodation

Full board accommodation in the lodge "A la brèche de Roland".
Possibility to arrive the day before (47€/person).
Possibility for a companion to stay at the chalet with full board (68€ for the weekend).
